International Hall of Gala Ciders

The International Hall of Gala Ciders (SISGA) is a meeting of high quality non-pourable ciders, in which different varieties of cider and cider derivatives are presented professionally, in a prestigious setting, paired with high-quality gastronomic products to claim their place in haute cuisine, and where the producers have the opportunity to share their products and experiences.

To participate, at least one person must come on behalf of the participating company. Participation is free of cost, by sending in advance the attached registration form completed, before September, 3rd, and providing the cider, in the amounts detailed below, before September, 10th:

  • 12 bottles of 75 cl of each kind of cider / perry presented to the contest.
  • 6 bottles of 75 cl of each kind of ice cider / fire cider presented to the contest.
  • 4 bottles of 75 cl of each kind of cider brandy and cider liqueurs presented to the contest.
  • 10 bottles / cans of 33 cl or less, of each kind of cider presented to the contest.

It is INDISPENSABLE to bring the amount deemed necessary for the stand in the day of the fair open to the general public. There, it is allowed to sell to the public apart from offering the tasting of the ciders.

Inscription in this modality includes:

  • Lodging in a 4-star hotel for the nights of September, 27th and 28th for one person. See reservations conditions.
  • Participation in the SISGA Awards in as many categories as you may want to.
  • It is mandatory to be part of the international jury deciding the SISGA Awards (one person per participating company).
  • Business lunches.
  • Possibility to perform a guided tasting.
  • Arrangement and management of the stand in the fair open to the public. Mandatory.
  • Confraternity Espicha (traditional Asturian informal lunch).
  • Gala Brunch[1] and SISGA Awards ceremony. The invitation is for one person. During the morning of the Sunday September, 29th, there will be a pairing of ciders and dishes and the SISGA Awards will be presented.

[1] To participate in the Gala Brunch, formal attire is required.
