SISGA’26

SISGA’26 Participation Terms

Producers and cider houses can take part in SISGA’26 in person or remotely. Registration makes it possible to enter ciders in the SISGA’26 Awards, take part in an international context and join a programme linked to Asturian cider culture, cider territories and international cooperation.

Cider registration in 5 steps

  1. Choose a modality: in-person or remote.
  2. Review categories and required samples.
  3. Send the registration request or contact the organisation.
  4. Send samples before 7 September 2026.
  5. Wait for confirmation from the organisation.

Participation modalities

SISGA offers two modalities for cider houses and producers: in-person participation and remote participation. Both allow ciders to be entered in the SISGA’26 Awards; the main difference is physical presence at the hall, contact with the public and professionals, participation in the International Jury and the number of samples required.

What in-person participation includes

In-person participation requires the attendance of at least one person representing the participating company. It includes participation in the SISGA Awards, accommodation in a four-star hotel for one person on the nights of 25 and 26 September subject to booking conditions, official working meals, the possibility of leading a guided tasting, space in the fair open to the public, the brotherhood espicha and Gala Brunch with one invitation for one person.

What remote participation includes

Remote participation is intended for companies that only wish to take part in the SISGA Awards without attending the event. It allows ciders to be entered by sending samples within the stated deadline.

International Jury

For in-person participation, one company representative must take part in the International Jury of the SISGA Awards. The International Jury is formed by one representative from each participating cider house and assesses ciders by blind tasting by category.

Awards and distinctions

The SISGA Awards recognise ciders through Premium, Gold, Silver and Bronze distinctions. Premium corresponds to the best-ranked cider in each category; Gold, Silver and Bronze are awarded by score according to the terms. See also the winners’ list and full awards explanation.
