Glass deposit system
The tasting glass is not included free of charge with admission. It is provided on entry after payment of a deposit; a voucher will be issued and the amount refunded when the glass is returned. The deposit is paid at the entrance and its amount is pending confirmation.
Access, payment and direct sales
Minors may only enter when accompanied by a responsible adult. They may not consume alcoholic beverages under any circumstances. Salón Asturias is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility. Card payment is accepted at the entrance. Payment methods for cider bought directly will depend on each cider house or producer.
Guided tastings and sampling sessions
Each guided tasting has a maximum capacity of 20 people, allocated in registration order. Attendees may register for as many tastings or sampling sessions as they wish, provided places remain available, schedules are compatible and they hold an Open Tasting ticket whenever required.

Cider Sommelier Workshop: an afternoon to discover cider with all your senses
On Wednesday 23 September, ahead of SISGA’26, the School of Cider Sommellerie at the CIFP de Hostelería y Turismo de Gijón will deliver an intensive workshop devoted to cider knowledge, tasting and gastronomic possibilities.
Over four hours, participants will learn to identify the basic tastes and main aromas found in cider, explore the world of cider spirits through a guided tasting, and discover different applications of cider in cocktail making.
The workshop will be highly practical and has a very small capacity of only ten participants, allowing personalised attention and a high-quality learning experience.

De chigres por Xixón
From 20:30, the programme will continue with “De chigres por Xixón”, a visit to cider bars in the municipality where participants can discover different establishments and taste ciders from a range of brands.
