The closing event of the SISGA
The Brunch de Gala of the Salón Internacional de les Sidres de Gala is the closing event of the SISGA and one of the most special moments of the meeting. It brings together producers, international jury, institutional representatives, organization, guests and people linked to the culture of cider in a last day of coexistence, recognition and celebration.
During the Brunch de Gala the SISGA, in which the ciders distinguished by the International Jury are announced. It is the moment in which the work of the participating ciders and producers receives public recognition, highlighting the quality, diversity and personality of the ciders presented at the Hall.
The gastronomic experience has a price of €75 per person and has limited places, so prior reservation is necessary until capacity is reached. Each dish will be paired with different international ciders, offering a proposal that combines Asturian gastronomy, quality cuisine and the cider diversity gathered in the SISGA.
In-person participation of cider makers: includes a place for the representative registered. Additional companions cost €75 per person and require prior reservation.
The Brunch will be held at the Finca El Duque Restaurant, in Castiello, Xixón. The establishment, founded in 1977, received the Gold Plate Award for National Gastronomy 2016 — opens in a new window.
In addition to the awards ceremony, the event includes the intervention of the president of the Fundación Asturies XXI, the recognition of the Ambassadors of SISGA and the appointment of new ambassadors, officially closing the 2026 edition.
