Two participation options, both free

IN-PERSON

Requires the presence of at least one representative of the company.

Includes

  • Participation in the SISGA Awards in the chosen categories.
  • Accommodation included. In-person participation includes two nightsʼ accommodation covered by the organisers. To benefit, each participant must book those two nights directly with the hotel by contacting Paola on +34 985 199 800 or by email at comercial@hotelzentralgijon.com.

    Anyone wishing to extend their stay must book and pay for the additional nights directly using the same contact. We recommend arranging this as soon as possible because SISGA takes place during a period of high demand for accommodation. Additional nights are not covered by the organisers and must be contracted and paid for directly by each participant.

    Please note that Wednesday 23 September is a complementary programme day before SISGAʼ26 and Monday 28 September is a complementary programme day after it. Participants interested in these activities may arrive earlier or extend their stay.
  • Official work meals, possibility of giving a guided tasting, traditional cider gathering (espicha) and Brunch de Gala for the representative.
  • Space and participation in the Open Tasting.

Obligations and samples

  • The representative must sit on the International Jury when applicable and attend the space during the Open Tasting.
  • See the exact quantities under Required samples.
  • Send enough cider for tasting and direct sales during the Open Tasting.

Not included

The transportation of samples and the expenses, procedures or incidents of customs, taxes, tariffs and imports correspond to the participant. The full companion package costs 270 € and includes all services listed for companions, including attendance at the Gala Brunch. The 75 € price applies only to people who wish to attend the Gala Brunch on its own, without booking full participation as a companion.

No attendance at the event is required: participation is formalized by sending the products for evaluation.

Samples and promotion

  • See the exact quantities under Required samples.
  • If enough product is sent, the organization may give it promotional presence during the Open Tasting. This possibility does not guarantee a staffed stand or the producer’s attendance or the assistance of the producer.

Shipping terms and conditions

  • Registration until 1 September 2026 and receipt of samples until 7 September 2026.
  • Samples must arrive correctly identified and classified by category.
  • Transport, customs, taxes, tariffs, imports and their possible incidents are the responsibility of the participant. The organization does not manage customs procedures, import permits or dispatches. Verification of the applicable procedure also corresponds to the participant.

Application

The request does not imply automatic acceptance. The organization will review the registration, categories and information sent before confirming participation.

Quantities by modality

Required samples

The quantities change depending on the chosen modality. The two columns maintain the same order as the previous participation options.

In-person mode

  • 12 75 cl bottles of each type of cider or pear cider submitted to the competition.
  • 6 75 cl bottles of each ice or fire cider submitted to the competition.
  • 4 bottles of 75 cl of each brandy or cider liqueur presented in the competition.
  • 10 bottles or cans of 33 cl, or smaller format, of each type of cider presented in the competition.
  • Enough cider for tasting and sale during the Open Tasting.

Non-face-to-face modality

  • 5 75 cl bottles of each type of cider or pear cider presented to the competition.
  • 3 75 cl bottles of each ice or fire cider presented to competition.
  • 2 bottles of 75 cl of each brandy or cider liqueur submitted to the competition.
  • 10 bottles or cans of 33 cl, or smaller format, of each type of cider presented in the competition.

International Jury

The Jury is made up of a representative from each of the wineries participating in person in the SISGA plus a technical table from the organization.

The ciders will be evaluated by tasting blind.

Distinctions

  • Premium. It is awarded to the cider that has obtained the best score in each category. Receive a trophy and diploma with the score obtained.
  • Gold. It is awarded to ciders that obtain between 85 and 100 points. Receives accrediting diploma, with score obtained.
  • Silver. It is awarded to ciders that obtain between 70 and 84 points. Receives accrediting diploma, with score obtained.
  • Bronze. It is awarded to ciders that obtain between 60 and 69 points. Receive accrediting diploma, with score obtained.

In all distinctions, PDF will be provided with the logo of the distinction obtained.

Do you want to participate in SISGA 2026?

Companion: 270 €. This price includes all services listed for companions, including attendance at the Gala Brunch. Accommodation for the companion is not included and must be booked and paid for directly. The 75 € price applies only to people who wish to attend the Gala Brunch on its own, without booking full participation as a companion. No payment is requested before written confirmation. Payment details will be provided after that confirmation when payment is applicable.

Monday 28 September: the programme will be open and adapted to participants’ interests. Possible proposals include visits to DOP Sidra de Asturies, Barrio de la Sidra in Uviéu, Cimavilla Sidrera in Xixón and Plaza del Requexu in Mieres. These are proposals; the final programme will be organised according to attendees’ interests.
