Open Tasting: admission, glass, tastings and payments

Is the ticket valid all day?

Yes. It provides access to both the morning and afternoon sessions.

May I leave and re-enter?

Yes. Attendees may leave and re-enter using the access-control system established by the organisers.

Is the tasting glass included?

No. The glass is provided after payment of a deposit. A voucher will be issued and the amount refunded when the glass is returned.

May I register for several tastings?

Yes. You may register for as many tastings or sampling sessions as you wish, provided places remain and schedules are compatible.

How many places are available in each guided tasting?

Each guided tasting has a maximum capacity of 20 people.

May minors enter?

Yes, when accompanied by a responsible adult. They may not consume alcoholic beverages under any circumstances.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes. Salón Asturias is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Can I pay by card?

Yes. Card payment is accepted at the entrance.

How do I pay for cider bought from producers?

The payment method will depend on each cider house or producer.

What is the cancellation deadline?

Cancellations are accepted until 17 September 2026. No cancellations are accepted after 17 September.

Tickets and attendance

Can I attend without being a professional?

Yes. The Open Tasting to the Public is aimed at citizens. You can also request a place for the Brunch de Gala or for the complete SISGA experience.

What modalities and prices are there?

Full experience SISGA: 400 €. Brunch de Gala: 75 €. Open Tasting: 10 €. Each guided tasting: 5 additional €. Companion: €270. Includes the programme services provided for companions, including the Brunch de Gala. Accommodation is not included and must be booked and paid for directly. In-person participation by the cider house representative includes two nightsʼ accommodation covered by the organisers. Each representative must book those two nights directly with the hotel by contacting Paola on +34 985 199 800 or at comercial@hotelzentralgijon.com. Additional nights must be booked and paid for directly through the same contact; they are not covered by the organisers. Early booking is recommended because of high demand. Wednesday 23 September is a complementary programme day before SISGAʼ26 and Monday 28 September is a complementary programme day after it, so participants may arrive earlier or extend their stay. Cider Sommelier Workshop: 75 €, open to the public and with limited places.

Where to purchase or reserve?

Currently, advance purchase or reservation is requested from the organization from the participation page. There is no automatic confirmation: the organization checks the capacity and sends written confirmation and payment instructions.

Does purchasing in advance ensure access?

Yes, when the organization has confirmed the request. Purchasing in advance avoids running out of a place, but does not imply a discount on the published price.

Does the 10 € ticket allow you to try all the ciders?

Does it allow you to taste the participating ciders available during the Open Tasting. The service is subject to stock, schedules, capacity and responsible consumption.

Are guided tastings paid separately?

Yes. They cost 5 € per tasting, require admission to the Open Tasting and a specific reservation. Places are awarded in strict order of registration.

Can I buy ciders there?

Yes. During the Open Tasting, direct sales of participating ciders are planned.

Can I only attend the Brunch?

Yes. It can be booked independently for 75 € per person, until the available places are filled.

Are there limited places or a waiting list?

The complete experience, the Brunch and the guided tastings have limited places and are assigned in order of registration. If an activity is full, the organization will indicate when responding if it has a waiting list.

Can minors attend?

Alcohol tasting and consumption are reserved for those over 18 years of age. To know the conditions of access for accompanying minors, consult in advance with the organization.

Where and when is the Open Tasting?

On Saturday, September 26, from 12:00 to 15:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00, in the Asturias Room of the Congress Palace of the Luis Fairgrounds Adaro, Xixón.

Producers, press and volunteers

What are the deadlines for producers?

Registration until 1 September 2026. Samples must be received by 7 September 2026.

Yes. There are reception tasks, customer service, tastings, logistics, communication and general support.

Is there a bus for participants?

On Sunday the 27th a bus leaves at 10:00 from the Hotel Zentral Rey Pelayo to the Brunch de Gala. Consult the program and the conditions of your modality for other trips.

The €400 complete public experience does not include accommodation.
